    Day by Day Itinerary

A driver will meet you at the airport and transport you to the lodge or hotel that you have reserved. Prior to the trip to Arusha, our travel-wise manager or our safari guide will provide a quick safari briefing, and we’ll then go directly there. to eat dinner and prepare for the upcoming expedition.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire national park

We start our Tanzanian camping safari after breakfast, and then we head to Tarangire for a full day of game viewing. You will embark on a game safari drive through the park after passing through the main gate. Before going back to your tent, you will go on a morning and an evening game drive. A meal and a stay in a lodge or hotel close to Lake Manyara.

    Tarangire National Park
Your game drive will begin as soon as you get to Tarangire, passing through a stunning scene of never-ending golden savannah that circles the Tarangire River. The enduring river provides both thrilling game viewing opportunities and an essential water source for the local animals during the dry season. The vast number of elephants in the park drink from the river that is lined with acacia and baobab trees, along with other herbivores like zebras and antelopes.

The best way to take it all in is with a picnic lunch by the river, but you must be cautious since the local monkey population will make every effort to get in the way of your meal!

While traveling through the park, you can see lions, leopards, cape buffalo, and many different antelope species. Even endangered animals like the Greater Kudu or the Fringe-Eared Oryx could be visible. After you’ve done your day’s drive, we’ll bring you to your lodging. Visit the Manyara Lodge/Hotel for the night.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park

The journey from Tarangire National Park to the Serengeti National Park will ultimately be comfortable and pleasurable as you take in the stunning scenery and amazing panoramas. After breakfast, we set out early to traverse the floor of the Great Rift Valley, climb an escarpment, and pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation area. After arriving in the Serengeti late in the day, have a game drive before settling into a camp or lodge for food, a bonfire, and a night’s sleep.

Lunch is eaten at one of the picnic spots, probably close to the Naabi Hill Gate, where you can also catch some fresh air while your guide fills out the necessary papers and registration. Two dinners were consumed before retiring to the lavish Campsite/Lodge/Hotel in the Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Game in Serengeti National Park

You can get up early on this day to go on a sunrise game drive in an effort to see both the uncommon nocturnal animal species as well as the early-risers among the diurnal animal species. It is a good time to observe animals close by because most wildlife like to gather along road sides to avoid the early morning dew. After breakfast in your tent, you’ll spend the rest of the day on game drives inside the Serengeti National Park. The term Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word “Siringit,” which means “plains without end,” and true to the name, you will travel over broad swathes of the African Savannah in search of the different animals that Serengeti has to offer.

Along with the wildebeests, you may expect to see a variety of animals, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, the elusive leopard, zebras, elands, and several resident and migratory birds.
Dinner and an overnight stay at the luxurious tent campsite or a location of similar quality in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

We check out and head out for one more Serengeti game drive after breakfast at your camp or lodge. You can travel everywhere in the Serengeti, including the Seronera River Valley, which is home to a variety of animals and birds, as instructed by your professional safari guide. Your safari guide will, as is traditional, communicate with other guides via the VHF high frequency radios placed in our safari cars to stay informed about the best places to explore. Later on in the day, you’ll come back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and check into a lodge where you’ll spend the night and have dinner.
supper and a night at the campground, lodge, or hotel

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Full game drive

You’ll leave early for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater after a substantial breakfast at your campground, lodge, or hotel. Your chances of seeing unusual creatures like Black Rhinos with a little luck increase the earlier you arrive at the Crater level. In order to arrive at the Crater floor as soon as possible, you can descend after breakfast or even with a breakfast that you’ve brought. Spend the majority of the morning at the Ngorongoro Crater till lunchtime. Ngorongoro Crater, which boasts the biggest concentration of wild animals, resembles a natural zoo with its 600–650 meter high walls. You could even be able to spot the Big Five in this area in a single day if you’re lucky. Following your picnic lunch, which you will probably consume at the designated picnic location beside the hippo pool, you will drive up the Crater rim and out of the Conservation area. To get ready for the last game drive the following day, you will return to Arusha mto wa mbu that evening.

Dinner and sleeping at the campground, lodge, or hotel.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park full game game drive

After breakfast at your lodge, have a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is a magnificent park that is always green thanks to underground water streams that flow from the Great Rift Valley to the lake.

Numerous species are drawn to the park’s different ecosystems with plenty of water and food, including herds of African elephant, buffalo, zebra, impala, hippos, giraffe, and other antelopes. In addition to other predators, this park is home to the well-known Lake Manyara tree-climbing lions. The large, shallow soda lake is home to several stunning flamingos and other aquatic birds that graze on algae and other aquatic life.

Depending on the time of your flight, return to Arusha through Mto wa mbu town and spend the night there or be dropped off in the late afternoon at the airport. On your journey back to Arusha, you can stop at a Maasai market if you’d like.

      7 Days Tanzania Camping Safari

Giraffes in Safari park in Tanzania

      7 Days Tanzania Camping Safari

      Overview

The 7 Tanzania Camping Safari is a carefully thought-out safari itinerary that allows you to affordably experience the best of Northern Tanzania’s safari circuit. Visit the Bushmen in Tarangire Park, Lake Manyara, and Lake Eyasi, as well as Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, while on this Tanzania camping vacation.

      Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

You will receive a briefing in the morning before departing for Tarangire National Park. Huge elephant herds frequently visit the park’s grassland, baobab trees, seasonal marshes, and lagoons. The Tarangire River serves as a source of oxygen for numerous species, including giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests as well as the strange-looking gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. Buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests are also present throughout the park; lions and other predators frequently hunt these animals. Leopards are occasionally spotted, but cheetahs are rarely seen. You may admire the scenery and observe the wildlife from the safari vehicle’s open top. In the late afternoon, you will reach a campsite inside the park, where you will spend the night in a tent. Lunch and dinner

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Lake Natron

After breakfast, travel from Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu, a cosmopolitan neighborhood. Ol Doinyo Lengai, the Maasai people’s “holy mountain,” is visible in the distance as a gorgeous but bumpy gravel road descends the Rift Valley Escarpment from here. The lovely Masai town of Ngare Sero, an oasis in the hot and dusty Rift Valley, is our destination today. Thousands of flamingos that breed and feed on the algae of the alkaline Lake Natron emit a pink glow in the distance. In the late afternoon, the Maasai guide will lead you on a stroll to a nearby waterfall before you return to the campground for the night. Lunch and dinner

Day 3: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park

After an early start, your car will emerge from the Rift Valley and onto the Serengeti’s green plains by midday after negotiating challenging dirt roads with breathtaking views. The Maasai refer to the Serengeti as “endless plains” because of how vast the grassland savannah is. The largest wildlife migration in the world takes place in Tanzania’s most famous park, the Serengeti, where hundreds of thousands of animals migrate in search of fresh grass and water. You’ll stay the night at a campground in the park’s northern or central region.

      Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Game watching is available every day in the Serengeti National Park. Depending on where you stayed the previous night, you will either go on a full-day game drive or participate in early morning and late afternoon drives in the Seronera region. Large herds of zebras and wildebeests can be seen between December and May, while calves and foals are born between January and March. Additionally, the Seronera area is the ideal location to see the nocturnal, lone leopard. You spend the night in a campsite in the Seronera region. There are substitutes for lunch, dinner, and all three.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

You might see some creatures on the planned morning game drive that you haven’t before seen in the Serengeti. Early in the day, before the temperature reaches its peak around midday, animals are more active. After lunch, you will depart the Serengeti plains and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area’s highlands. You will spend the night at a campground with views of the erupted volcano at the Ngorongoro Crater. It’s the ideal location for a sundowner at dusk. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Mto wa Mbu

Get up and shine! One must rise early in the morning to ascend the incline that leads into the steep crater crater that is 600 meters deep. Despite the slopes being covered in trees, the terrain quickly transforms into a savannah, with the occasional acacia tree thrown in for good measure. Amazing wildlife may be found in the crater, including, if you’re lucky, the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, and leopard). There should be hippopotamuses, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, and some of the 500+ bird species found in the area. You will travel to Mto wa Mbu to spend the night after spending the morning seeing wildlife and having a picnic lunch in the crater. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 7: Mto wa Mbu – Arusha

You’ll leave for your return trip to Arusha after a leisurely breakfast, and you’ll get there around lunchtime. Either the airport or the center of the city will serve as your final destination. breakfast, lunch, and supper.

After a cup of coffee, we suggest leaving your tent and packing a sandwich and breakfast for an early-morning game drive that departs at 6:30. Early morning game drives provide you the chance to witness the spectacular Serengeti dawn and raise your chances of spotting a cat family on the road because they spend much of their morning avoiding the morning mist.

There are also other predators visible, such as a pack of lionesses setting up an ambush in the morning or a lioness feeding alongside the road. You will spend a lot of time with the Wildebeest Migration there in the Serengeti, where you will travel straight. You can anticipate seeing some animal behavior, such fighting, eating, or possibly hunting. The Serengeti is still worth seeing whether or not there is a Wildebeest Migration. Later, just prior to or during sunset, you make your way back to your campground. You’ll stay the night in the camp, lodge, or hotel. All meals are included.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, you can go on the best camping safaris and Zanzibar beach vacations. After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and game-drive via the Malanja valley to the Naabi Hills gate. Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after that to see wildlife by descending 600 meters into the crater floor.

Ngorongoro Crater, known as the Eden of Africa, was formed by internal processes around a million years ago. The eruption left behind a huge caldera that was mistakenly referred to as a crater. A yearly flow of water from the highlands of Ngorongoro and adequate feed sustain a wider diversity of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, elephant, hippos, buffalo, topi, eland, and the rare black rhino.

In this stunning crater, predators such as hyenas, lions, cheetahs, jackals, and the mysterious leopard reside in large numbers and are difficult to notice without a trained eye. From aquatic to forest species, there are many different types of birds. With any luck, the so-called Big Five can be seen within a single day of game drives.

Along with other critters, the Crater is home to a wider range of bird species, both terrestrial and aquatic. The hippo pool and a big but shallow alkaline lake, which are frequently frequented by flamingo and hippos flocks, are located in the southwest corner of the crater. After stopping for lunch, continue on to Simba public camping on the crater rim for dinner and the following night. You’ll stay the night in the camp, lodge, or hotel. All meals are included.

          Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Zanzibar

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara

The lake’s alkaline waters cover around 89 square miles (231 km2) of the national park’s overall 127 square miles (329 km2) area. Giant fig and mahogany trees can be found in the groundwater forest right outside the park’s entrance. The crater highlands just above the Manyara basin continuously replenish the underground springs, from which they draw their nourishment.

Hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes are among the herbivores that live in Lake Manyara and its vicinity. However, lions and baboons that are noted for their propensity to climb trees are the most famous residents of these areas.

            Day 3, 4, 5: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Manyara and go to the huge Serengeti plains via Ngorongoro Crater. It is possible to see the movement for one half day and two full days. The oldest and most well-known national park is Serengeti, which hosts zebra and Thomson gazelles as they accompany the yearly migration of wildebeest to new pastures. Other creatures that can be found in the Serengeti are the buffalo, giraffe, eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lion, cheetah, leopard, and African jackal.

The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the Ngorongoro Crater, a huge, unbroken, undamaged volcanic caldera. The crater is 610 meters (2,000 feet) deep and has a floor area of 260 kilometers (100 miles). It was formed when a large volcano erupted and collapsed on itself approximately two to three million years ago. It is estimated that the ancient volcano’s height was between 15,000 and 19,00 feet (4,500 and 5,800 meters). The crater is home to the bulk of the animal species found in East Africa, including lions, elephants, zebras, rhinos, leopards, buffalo, gazelles, wildebeest, hippos, and other bird species.
